Every engine is measured, documented and built to a repeatable standard, so what leaves the workshop is known, not assumed.
Alongside engine work, Ristell Race Engines / GTEYE designs and manufactures the range of practical kart parts in fuel and oil resistant TPU, first released in 2022 and sold through this page.
What we do
Top end rebuilds
Piston, ring, small end bearing and cylinder service at the right interval, with bore and piston clearance measured and recorded before the engine goes back together.
Bottom end and complete rebuilds
Crank alignment, main bearings and seals replaced and the cases cleaned and assembled, or a full rebuild from the crank up when the engine needs a clean start.
Precision honing
Cylinders honed on a dedicated machine to a controlled crosshatch, with surface finish measured so ring seal and break in are consistent, not left to chance.
Blueprinting and truing
Crank runout, squish, port timing and compression checked against the class rules and set to spec, so the engine is legal, repeatable and makes the power it should.

Inspect and measure
The engine is stripped, cleaned and measured. Findings are recorded and discussed before parts are ordered.
Build and test
Machining, assembly and testing to the agreed specification.
Report and hand over
A build report with the measurements and settings goes with every engine.

Engines serviced
IAME KA100, IAME X30, Vortex SV, Vortex DVS. Rebuilds, honing and blueprinting to the current class rules for each. Ask about other engines; if it is a two stroke kart engine it is usually not a problem.
Drop off and collection
Upper Beaconsfield, Victoria, by appointment. Message or call to book a time. Interstate customers can send engines by road freight; contact us first for packing advice and the delivery address, and the engine goes back the same way once the work is complete.
Parts shipping
Dispatched within 1 to 2 business days by Australia Post tracked mail. Australia wide 2 to 4 days. Worldwide by Australia Post Tracked, usually 6 to 10 days. Prices do not include customs charges or duty applied by the receiving country.
Parts warranty and returns
12 months against material and workmanship defects on all GTEYE kart parts. Change of mind returns accepted within 30 days of delivery, unused, at your expense. Contact us before sending anything back.
